Dr. Ntsika Fileyo is a qualified medical doctor and experienced Principal Investigator with a strong background in both clinical practice and research. He completed his MBChB degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) and has seven years of medical practice and four years of clinical research experience.

He previously built his research expertise as a Sub-Investigator at SBRI’s East London location. Since then, he has worked at various institutions, including the Monti Clinical Research Centre and Africa Health Research Institute, and served as a Pl at Merclinco, where he led multiple clinical studies.

Dr. Fileyo has now returned to SBRI as a Principal Investigator, bringing his passion and commitment to the team. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health from UKZN and is a qualified Occupational Medical Practitioner. He is enthusiastic about rejoining the team and leading high-quality clinical research.
