Facilities
The facilities further include an administrative area, 6 clinical and counselling rooms, 2 reception areas, data management facilities, secure filing space, an onsite laboratory and pharmacy.
Laboratory & Back Up Power
Rapid tests performed at the laboratory include HIV, BHCG, Urine Dipstick. Blood specimens can be prepared for shipment to a local laboratory. The onsite laboratory is equipped with: Refrigerated centrifuge, 2-80C Fridges (x1), -800C freezer (x2), Air-conditioning Units. Back-up power support is provided by the main generator.
Pharmacy
The pharmacy is within the centre’s main building and has an access control system for authorized personnel only. There is a separate preparation area and a separate administrative room. The pharmacy is suitably equipped with UPS backup power, a Continuous Temperature Monitoring (CTM) system,2-80C Fridges (x2), -200C freezer (x2), Bio-Hazard Safety Cabinet (level 2), Air-conditioning Units, Back-up power support to the main generator.
